Java/J2EE Senior Developer / Software Architect

Senior SQL Server Database Developer (MS-SQL and Oracle)

Experienced and highly professional database developer with background in development of commercial enterprise application products.

You will be highly proficient with T-SQL and query optimisation developing and maintaining enterprise applications and datastructures.

Opportunity to gain in-depth expertise in parallel development of SQL and PL/SQL and exposure to integration using XML.

You will be responsible for database design, T-SQL development, performance, optimisation, implementing software security requirements, development and support for mission critical production databases and transition from SQL 2000 to SQL 2005.

Systems Analyst /Technical Support Analyst

You are expected to manage your work such that best practices are adhered to at all times and support SLAs are observed. The role is varied and offers a wide variety of technologies and applications, and a mixture of hands-on, consultancy and management. Attending customer sites is required.

Your responsibilities include:-

Candidate Requirements:
You should have direct experience in managing the implementation of IT systems into commercial organisations. You will have analytical problem solving skills, good technical understanding and excellent written communication skills are essential combined with commercial acumen. Experience working with a large consultancy or supporting a mission critical production system are beneficial as is experience in working in an ISO9002 certified organisation. You also possess high work ethics demanding accuracy and attention to detail from yourself and your team. If you have full Security Clearance or have previously been Security Cleared this would be beneficial.

Knowledge of Windows 2000 server, SQL 2000, Oracle, Solaris,
TCP/IP networking, LDAP, Cisco routers and Internet computing in general
is required. Understanding of HTML, DHTML, XML and mobile devices is
advantegous. In addition to a degree, you also have MCSE or MCP
qualifications, or are willing to gain them promptly.

Technical Support Analyst / Engineer

Perfect opportunity for a highly motivated person who can work
diligently and accurately under pressure and bring assignments to
completion, including appropriate checklists and documentation.
This role is a support role, not a development role.

Required to install and administer Windows 2000 / SQL 2000 servers and
intranet applications at client sites. You will also be required to install and maintain
internal test servers in good order, applying patches, to configure our software to interact with third party software.

As part of the 1st and 2nd level support for software applications,
you will be able to gain appropriate facts from the customer, verify
and locate the root cause and provide a fix or escalate to the
appropriate person. You take ownership of any issues and see it
through to resolution.

Knowledge and experience required:-

You will be regularly visiting client sites throughout the UK.
Experience in carrying out a client facing technical role is essential.
You enjoy learning new technologies and applications, and are a self-motivated
quick learner. You are very accurate and methodological, taking
great pride in your work.

You will be required to provide on call support for evenings and weekends.
